I really love it when a nitro car warms up its engine. Here's the Shockwave funny car of Gordon Smith. Crew Chief Dave Bryant (standing on left hand side) has the car running nice and rich to produce this lovely smelly cloud of nitro exhaust (tear gas, mainly). If you look in between the two standing crew members on the right hand side and peer carefully you will see the unmistakeable cheery face of 2003 FIA Top Fuel champion Smax Smith looking on and enjoying the warm up.
