Open Sports Nationals

Work has been a real pain, this past couple of weeks and I've been all over - barely at home much - so my master plans for the usual flavour of scribblings from the superb Open Sports Nationals meeting have gone out the window. I hastily finished the processing of the pictures just before setting off to Santa Pod to start covering the European Finals! I was experimenting a lot with different shooting methods at Shakey so hopefully you'll like the results: Two large picture galleries - Sunday's racing was especially good - and there's quite a few from Monday before rain interrupted proceedings. A thoroughly enjoyable meeting. Highlights? Tim Blakemore hitting 200mph on his funny bike, Jim Usher running 204mph in his fuel altered and Simon Barlow nearly hitting the 9 second zone in his Orange Pop Anglia.
