Ian 'Turbo' Turburville and his Spokehead
Nitro Harley bike. Turbo has been edging forward in the performance
stakes calmly and cautiously and, as a result, he's been creeping up
on the performance of the other Harley competitors, with low 7
second runs. He was unfortunate to have some piston and liner damage
during the weekend (after leaning out unexpectedly), but the
wonderful thing about the Overkill Nitro Harley motor design is that
readily available Top Fuel (dragster) engine parts are used with
little modification. Doesn't make it cheap, but it just makes it
cheaper than bespoke!! Good luck for the season Turbo! |
