The Main Event was eagerly anticipated, but the Weather gods did not look down on us as favourably as they have in the past. On Friday the clouds were threatening, not only making the picture taking difficult under dark lighting conditions, and there were a couple of light showers to contend with. Nonetheless, we had a pretty full book of Sportsman racing with several competitors appearing in two classes - which can be a little confusing at times! All in all, not a bad day.

Saturday was pretty good. The weather remained dry until early evening and the lighting conditions were generally better than Friday. However, when the rain did start early evening, that was it for the rest of the weekend. There were flashes of hope and inspiration on both Sunday and Monday, but essentially, it was continuous, steady rain of the most depressing kind.

Never mind! Next time will be much better, I am sure (fingers crossed!) and in the meantime, please enjoy the galleries.
