The 2008 Springspeed Meeting

Think a little explanation is needed. Simon Barlow's Crew Chief Phil on the Orange Pop team decided to get married this weekend - when Simon was racing. Can't be helped, but Simon's Dad decided to step into the breach to fill Phil's shoes. He therefore donned a suitably labelled beer box so as to keep all passers by properly informed of his roll! I bumped into him in the pits well after 11 & I suspect he may have had a couple of doses of Dutch Courage to don the box!
