One of the mini radio controlled stock cars. They were impressively fast and looked a lot prettier than when I used to race the full sized versions. No. 471 was the number of a great hero of mine called Bobby Burns. He had the biggest and baddest bumper in the whole wide world and woe betide anyone who was brave enough to try and stick him in the fence! I'm sad to say that Bobby was cut down by a major stroke in the early 90's which forced his retirement. |
