The people who have restored Bert Finnikin's car have done a smashing job. This chassis was built in 1988 and although the completed car looks perfect, there is one small detail which is captured on this picture which is imperfect to the build year: You can just see behind the exhaust headers that it is fitted with exhaust silencers - Formula 1 Stock cars of that time had no such silencing. |
