The subject matter  triggered a memory and made me titter. Before the blower is fitted on top of the engine is the best and easiest time to fill the motor with the 12 litres of sticky-honey like 70 weight oil for the warm-up. (16 Litres for a run). I have been helping out on this dragster before now and just as I thought "I'll put the oil in", a vastly experienced and nameless crew member beat me to it and glugged a generous dollop straight in, just as our friend is doing at the moment on this picture. T'was a pity that the person responsible for the bottom end had yet to bolt the oil sump back on.....
